UDAIPUR LOCALIZATION FELLOWSHIP

Do you have a dream project to improve the local culture, environment or health of Udaipur city? We would like to support you in making your dream come into reality.

Our past fellows have been working on urban farming, community video, upcycling waste, bicycling, healthy cooking, supporting small farmers, Mewari language and storytelling, mural art, theatre festival, gift culture experiments, youth center, children's creativity spaces, local artisans, wisdom walking tours, etc. in Udaipur.

Some of our past fellows include - Sunny Gandhrva and Manoj Prajapat, Millets of Mewar; Rohit Jain, Banyan Roots; Sampat Bapna, Sukoon; Guddi Prajapat and Vishal Dhabai, Eco-hut.

The Fellowship will offer you with 1 year support in the following:

  • Mentorship in personal leadership and social entrepreneurship development
  • Networking and Contacts throughout the world
  • Dynamic Peer Support Group to collaborate with
  • Access to Seed Funding
  • Basic Financial Scholarship for 6 months

  • Are interested in dreaming, talking and DOING
  • Are between 15 - 50 years and are a local resident of Udaipur
  • Basic working knowledge of Mewari and Hindi
  • Can dedicate at least 25 hours per week to your project.

UDAIPUR LOCALIZATION FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION FORM

The Udaipur Localization Fellowship is for one year. During this period, you will design, implement and iterate a prototype project in Udaipur which will support the local culture, environment and health of the city. You will also be expected to give some time each week to help other Fellows with their projects. The minimum time commitment will be 25 hours per week. Fellows will also be supported in developing a project proposal/business plan to take their project forward after the fellowship period. Fellows will receive a basic financial stipend for initial 6 months to support their work.
